| Knowledge assessment is the most important function of educational activities. It acquires special significance in the context of using intelligent systems in the educational process. The article proposes options for using Data Mining tools to assess changes in the structure of students knowledge during their formation. The results of testing these tools for assessing students knowledge and forming a final assessment of knowledge on one of the topics of the Database course for a university are presented. When assessing students knowledge, test tasks (intermediate and final) were used. The result of each stage of testing was processed using data mining tools. The k-means method was used to group the test results by difficulty levels. The use of this method allows us to identify students weaknesses in acquiring knowledge and can be used to improve the educational process. | |
