| The article is devoted to the study of environmental pollution problems and the harmful effects of low-frequency acoustic noise on human health. To justify the relevance and global importance of these issues, references are made to the UN document “Sustainable Development Concept” and reports from other reputable organizations. Various pathological conditions caused by exposure to inaudible infrasound and the audible low-frequency spectrum of sound signals are examined. Experimental studies were conducted to assess the impact of infrasound sources in industrial environments on workers’ health. Measurement results related to the object of study were processed in accordance with current standards. The obtained data were compared with sanitary norms, based on which the degree of influence of the workplace acoustic environment on employees’ health was evaluated. Educational discussions were also held on environmental acoustic noise pollution, including its harmful effects on health. To reduce the harmful impact of acoustic noise levels exceeding permissible limits, several protective measures are proposed. The feasibility of continuing research on this topic is substantiated. | |
