Fataliyev , T.X. A Systems Analysis of Technological Dependence and Technological Sovereignty in the Oil and Gas Complex / T.X. Fataliyev , S.A. Mehdiyev // VIII International Scientific- Practical Conference . - Cherkasy, 2026. - P. 486-488.
 Annotasiya
In the context of global digital transformation and geoeconomic instability, technological dependence is increasingly strategic for high-tech and capital-intensive industries. The oil and gas sector, which supports states energy security and macroeconomic stability, is characterized by a high degree of integration of cyber-physical systems, digital platforms, and specialized software, much of which is developed in foreign technological ecosystems. This increases the industrys structural vulnerability to external constraints and disruptions to global supply chains. This study aims to develop a methodological framework to ensure the technological sovereignty of the oil and gas sector through a systems analysis of its technological dependence. This paper examines the impact of dependence on foreign technologies in the areas of geological exploration, drilling, production automation, and digital management on the functional and institutional resilience of the sector. Technological sovereignty is understood as the industrys capacity to develop strategic technological solutions and to ensure sustainable development within the context of global interdependence. An integrated dependence assessment model is proposed that incorporates structural, digital, and institutional aspects. The results obtained can serve as a methodological basis for the formation of industrial and innovation policies aimed at increasing the technological sustainability of the oil and gas sector.
