| The relationship between digital transformation and climate change is one of the most pressing problems of the modern era. Their wide-ranging effects are felt all over the world. Climate change is recognized by many countries as one of the most important global challenges of the century. The article analyzes the role of digital transformations and emerging issues in solving climate change problems against the background of the new challenges of COP29. Digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, Big Data, and the Internet of Things, which have a significant positive impact on these processes, play an important role in combating climate change. In addition, the potential for the application of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and IoT in environmental protection is examined. Special attention is paid to solving the problems of technological inequality between different countries, infrastructure deficiencies, and cybersecurity risks. The increasing relevance of the problem of global and regional environmental and climate change is justified by the growing impact of anthropogenic factors, including the continuous increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Thus, digital technologies allow for more efficient use of resources, energy supply and production processes, and reduce waste of resources by collecting more accurate data. In the field of environmental monitoring, big data and sensors are used in the analysis of climate change, creating conditions for timely monitoring of environmental changes and taking preventive measures. Accelerating the development of energy sources or clean technologies in the development of green technologies can also create new opportunities. The article provides some recommendations for solving climate change problems by effectively using digital capabilities. | |
