| The article analyzes scientific and technical problems and the current state of sensors and sensor networks within the framework of a unified concept of the Internet of Things. The connections between autonomous groups of sensors and sensor networks, data transfer protocols (standards), and network routing schemes are explored. Some applications are indicated, including autonomous transport networks, UAVs, etc. as an example. The main and auxiliary sensors used in the UAV are classified according to their functional purpose. The trend in the evolution of “smart” systems created on the basis of the convergence of “smart” sensors and their wireless networks with ICT is considered. Some considerations were also made regarding the immediate development prospects. | |
